KINNAUR KAILASH YATRA 2026 – IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE

Important Information for All Devotees

All devotees are hereby informed that Kinnaur Kailash Yatra 2026 will be conducted from Purwani Village from 17 August 2026 to 23 August 2026. All devotees undertaking the pilgrimage will be required to reach Purwani Village. A maximum of 50 devotees per day will be allowed to begin the pilgrimage through offline registration.

For the convenience of all devotees travelling through the Purwani Route and to ensure smooth arrangements, the following guidelines have been issued:

1. Registration Timings: 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

2. Registration Location: Registration will be carried out at the registration point established near the Animal Husbandry Ground, close to Purwani Bus Stand.

3.  Medical Examination and Green Tax: The medical examination and Green Tax process will be completed at the registration point itself.

4. Registration will be conducted on a First Come, First Serve basis.

5. No registration will be permitted after 10:30 AM.

6. After registration, devotees will have to travel to Panosantang through the designated vehicles.

7. Vehicles will depart from the registration point for Panosantang at intervals of 15 minutes.

8. Each vehicle will carry a maximum batch of 12 devotees.

9. The vehicle fare to Panosantang is fixed at ₹200, and the return fare is ₹100.

10. The vehicle departing from the registration point at approximately 10:30 AM is expected to reach Panosantang at around 11:30 AM.

11. A canteen facility is available at Panosantang for devotees, where food items such as Rajma Rice, Maggi, etc. will be available.

12. After reaching Panosantang, the concerned guide will lead the group of devotees from Panosantang to Danglidean.

13. The journey from Panosantang to Danglidean may take approximately 3 to 4 hours.

14. After reaching Danglidean, devotees will begin their journey towards the cave at approximately 1:30 AM.

15. After darshan, devotees may either stay overnight at Danglidean or return towards Purwani, depending on their convenience and prevailing conditions.

16. For the safety of devotees and to provide immediate assistance and rescue support in case of any emergency, police and Home Guard teams have been deployed at both Danglidean and the cave.

 Important Notice

All devotees are requested to reach the registration point within the prescribed time and strictly follow all directions and safety guidelines issued by the administration during the pilgrimage. Devotees are also requested to maintain necessary coordination with the concerned officials and security personnel throughout the journey.

The safety and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage for all devotees is the administration’s highest priority.

You are requested to follow the following guidelines to ensure a safe and well-organized journey :-

Do’s
1. Before starting the journey, complete your registration compulsorily and carry the registration certificate with you.
2. Carry a valid medical fitness certificate and undergo the prescribed health check-up. Undertake the journey only if you are physically fit.
3. Always travel in groups and follow the instructions issued by local guides or the administration.
4. In high-altitude areas, climb slowly and take immediate rest if you experience breathlessness, dizziness, or any discomfort.
5. Carry warm clothes, raincoat/poncho, umbrella, sturdy trekking shoes, torch, water bottle, essential medicines, and trekking stick with you.
6. Use only the travel route designated and marked by the administration.
7. In case of any health issue or emergency, immediately contact the nearest medical camp, assistance centre, or administrative officer.
8. Maintain cleanliness at the travel route, camp sites, and religious places, and cooperate in protecting the environment.
9. Contribute towards the conservation of rare herbs, plants, and natural resources.
10. Complete the journey with religious faith, devotion, and spiritual भावना.
11. Drink sufficient water and allow your body to acclimatize to the high-altitude environment.
12. Follow the guidelines issued by the Meteorological Department and the administration.
13. Offer any donation or offerings only in authorized donation boxes.
14. Keep your identity card and necessary documents with you at all times.
Don’ts
1. Do not undertake the journey or trekking during night hours.
2. Do not start the journey without registration and health check-up.
3. Do not separate yourself from your companions or group.
4. Do not force yourself to climb if you are extremely tired or facing health-related problems.
5. Do not travel wearing slippery or unsuitable footwear.
6. Do not use any shortcut routes.
7. Do not throw plastic bottles, wrappers, food waste, or any other garbage. Dispose of waste only in designated dustbins.
8. Do not defecate in open areas and do not pollute the environment.
9. Do not harm rare herbs, plants, or wildlife.
10. Do not consume any type of intoxicants, alcohol, tobacco, or narcotic substances.
11. Playing loud music, causing noise pollution, or behaving inappropriately is strictly prohibited.
12. Do not cause any damage to the sanctity of religious places, sacred rocks, or Shivling.
13. Do not light fires in forest areas and avoid smoking.
14. Do not disregard the instructions of the administration, police, forest department, or other authorized officials.
15. Do not treat the journey as a means of entertainment or adventure display; give the highest priority to your own safety and the safety of fellow pilgrims.

Important Information

Kinnaur Kailash Yatra is a high-altitude Himalayan and sacred religious pilgrimage. All devotees are expected to fully respect religious traditions, environmental balance, and administrative guidelines, and cooperate in making the journey safe, clean, and successful.
