A meeting of the Project Advisory Committee was held in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office of Reckong Peo, Kinnaur, which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Gopal Chand Deputy Chairman of Project Advisory Committee and local MLA Jagat Singh Negi, Project Advisory Committee member and ex-MLA Tejvant Negi, Project Advisory Committee member and Scheduled Caste and Tribal President Surat Negi, District Council Chairperson Priteshvari Devi and Project Advisory Committee.
In the meeting, review of departmental distinction and physical progress has been reviewed on the ongoing schemes under tribal sub plan for the years 2017-18 and 2018-19.
It was informed in the meeting that in the year 2017-18, under tribal sub-plan, about Rs. 2 crore 85 lakh on the agriculture and allied services, about Rs. 4 crore 37 lakh on elementary education, about Rs. 8 crore for roads and bridges, Rs. 10 lakh, irrigation and flood About 2 crores of rupees 30 lakhs have been spent on control.
Budget provision of Rs. 2 crores 96 lacs for agricultural and allied services has been made in the Tribal Sub-Plan Distribution year 2018-19 and for construction of roads and bridges, approximately 9 crores 86 lacs, about 3 crores for irrigation and flood control Budget provision of Rs. 64 lakh has been kept.
It was informed in the meeting that a budget provision of about Rs 4 crores 69 lakhs for allopathy and around Rs.1.13 lacs for Aryuvad has been kept under tribal sub-plan dti-2018-19 in the district.
