Important Public Notice

It is with deep regret that we inform the public that during the ongoing Kailash Yatra 2025,  due to continuous rainfall, rockfall, foggy conditions, and other adverse weather circumstances, the situation has become extremely dangerous for pilgrims.

In view of the immediate risk to the lives of yatris and under the provisions of Section 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the Kinnaur District Administration has decided to suspend the Kailash Yatra for the year 2025 with immediate effect for the this year .

The decision has been taken to ensure public safety and to prevent any further loss of life. All yatris and stakeholders are requested to take note of this advisory and cooperate with the administration.
