District Youth Festival

District level youth festival was organized in Chango village of District Youth Sports and Services Office, Kinnaur. This festival was inaugurated by the tax collectors of Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Gopal Chand.
During the festivities, competition was also organized for group folk, folk dance and instrumental instrument, in which NG Panivi got first place in folk dance, Durga Club Kothi secured second place and TTC Chunga third place. In the group, Durga Club Kothi I, N.V.C. Panvi II and Sheshring Nagas XJon Club, Pangi stayed in third place and NVC Panvi I, Sheeshring Nagas XJon Club, Pangi II and Durga Cultural Club, Uraani, in the public instrument.
Addressing all the participants and local people on this occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Kannaur Gopal Chand said that such event provides a platform for mutual youth to promote their talent. He said that our identity is with our culture, traditions and customs, so it is necessary to keep them safe.
He said that such events not only promote our culture, but also promote mutual brotherhood.
On this occasion Ganga Lal Negi, District Youth Sports and Services Officer honored the Chief guest with cap and muffler and welcomed the guests as well.
 Devpal Nagi, Principal, Principal, Ra.K. School, Kalpa and Subhash Negi, ADPO Elementary Education were present as judges in this competition.
